‘Charmed’ star to play bicycle courier

BERLIN — Drew Fuller will star in German production outfit Action Concept’s “Dark Ride,” directed by Axel Sand.

Fuller (“Charmed”) plays an American bicycle courier in Berlin who gets caught up in a conflict between a hitman and German intelligence agents. Ken Bones and Alison King also star.

It’s the latest TV movie to come out of Hermann Johas’ Cologne-based Action Concept, which started out as a stunt and special effects company and has grown into one of Germany’s most successful TV producers.

Company, maker of hit action skeins such as “The Clown” and “Alarm for Cobra 11,” is partnering with GRB Worldwide and Canadian producer-distrib Incendo Prods. on a crime drama series based on John Frankenheimer’s 1998 actioner “Ronin.”

It also produced English-lingo TV movie “Lasko,” about a traumatized former KFOR soldier who seeks peace in a monastery but ends up joining the secret order Pugnus Dei (The Fist of God), an elite unit of monks who fight for justice while trying to avoid killing. Pic starred Arnold Vosloo (“The Mummy”).
