Layouts

Here are all the previous layouts Drew Fuller Fan.com has had!

Version: 1.0
Active: July 12, 2003 -December 22, 2003
Notes: This layout featured a variety of Drew images considering I was just beginning to gather content and complete the image gallery for the site. I’ve always loved using contrasting shades of grey together, and I believe it turned on quite well. I opted not to build the site in PHP until I was more comfortable using it, therefore, the left sidebar was actually a hidden i-frame with menu options and various content within it.

Version: 2.0
Active: December 23, 2003-July 5, 2004
Notes: This layout featured Drew’s Teen People magazine image and various Black Sash/Charmed promos on the right side. I whipped out quite a few layouts using the same image before I came up with this one and was quite impressed with it. I rebuilt the entire site in PHP now that I am comfortable with it, and the sidebar has received a facelift as well. My previous sites almost always had the dark color scheme, but I hadn’t been using those types of colors for quite some time. Well, I went ‘back to my roots’ with this layout featuring black, charcoal grey, and a dark rich green, which is my favorite color.

Version: 3.0
Active: July 6, 2004-November 21, 2004
Notes: This layout featured images of Drew taken at the Marc Ecko Enterprises Style Suite event. Before creating the current layout, I had quite a creativity block, which lasted a couple of weeks. Needless to say, I’m glad I got over the “hump in the road”. I decided to use a grey color scheme yet again, not only because I love using grey colors, but also due to it matching the forum even more. I’ve been working on making my layouts more curvier and less boxy… I’m getting there!

Version: 4.0
Active: November 22, 2004-April 7, 2005
Notes: This layout featured an image from Drew’s Ocean Drive magazine photo shoot as well as 3 publicity images of Drew from the “Ladder 49″ World Premiere, “Win A Date With Tad Hamilton!” World Premiere, and one of my personal favorites… the “Paycheck” World Premiere. I also had lots of fun using various publicity images as a header above the main content. I decided to go with a green theme this time, not only because it’s Drew’s favorite color [and mine too], but also because it’s the holiday season! I’m quite proud of how it turned out.

Version: 5.0
Active: April 8, 2005-June 30, 2005
Notes: This layout features gorgeous images of Drew from Bravo magazine. I figured it was time to go back to a lighter layout, especially since summer is around the corner. I love using soft shades of brown to give this layout a calming effect. The navigation has improved as well, and is much easier to read. Overall, I’m very pleased with it.

Version: 5.5
Active: July 1, 2005-September 4, 2005
Notes: This layout features a candid picture of Drew that sent my way and also a candid picture from “Dark Ride”. I didn’t change the structure layout, just the background and the main image. I was getting tired of that old background and wanted a bit of a change from the main pic. This makes the site a bit more welcoming and cheery looking.

Version: 6.0
Active: September 5, 2005-August 11, 2006
Notes: This layout features a variety of images from magazine scans. I used lots of white and red for the first time. It came out quite a bit different than most of the previous layouts.

Version: 7.0
Active: August 12, 2006-July 27, 2007
Notes: This layout features a variety of images from one of Drew’s most gorgeous photoshoots. I used lots of neutral brown colors and lighting to give it kind of a dreamy look.

Version: 8.0
Active: July 28, 2007-July 11, 2008
Notes: This layout features a photo from one of Drew’s latest photoshoots and also a candid photo that Drew sent us. This resembles V.6.0 just a bit, but I think it looks a lot better.

Version: 9.0
Active: July 12, 2008-March 27, 2009
Notes: This layout features 3 exclusive photos from one of Drew’s latest photoshoots. I thought it would be nice to have a new layout up since DFF.com was celebrating being online for 5 years. I used lots of light green to give this layout a nice look for summer too.

Version: 10.0
Active: March 28, 2009-July 5, 2009
Notes: This layout features 2 exclusive photos from some of Drew’s latest photoshoots. I thought it would be nice to have a new layout up right before I go on vacation. I think this layout turned out quite well and is a lot more professional looking.
